A Two-Track Snowflake-on-AWS Modernization

DataTerrain delivered the modernization across two coordinated workstreams: sustaining the newly migrated Revenue Analytics platform while re-engineering the OPACC process from mainframe to Snowflake.

Revenue Analytics (RA) Support, ongoing

DataTerrain provides continuous operational and development support for the client's migrated Revenue Analytics platform: monitoring and maintaining monthly revenue jobs (Revenue, CJL, and historical records), developing new Snowflake views and optimizing queries, enhancing AWS job scheduling and process automation, integrating and optimizing Power BI dashboards, and implementing data validation and control checks, sustaining zero downtime, faster report generation, and high data confidence across the enterprise.

OPACC Process Migration, 6 months, in development

DataTerrain is migrating the OPACC process from mainframe to Snowflake: moving four key component jobs that extract data from MDW, DB2, AIMS, and external files, re-engineering three COBOL programs and three QUIK jobs into Snowflake-native equivalents, building efficient ETL logic in AWS for seamless orchestration and monitoring, and implementing metadata-driven workflows for transparency and maintainability.
