How to get the current data in Oracle Taleo OBIEE report

Oracle Taleo OBIEE report if run the first time, will get cached if the caching is enabled. The report will be fetched from the cache for subsequent executions. This will not reflect the changes that occur in the underlying database after the first report run, as the report is coming from cache. Steps to disable cache at the report level Edit the analysis report Navigate to the advanced tab In the Prefix text area, add the command “SET VARIABLE DISABLE_CACHE_HIT = 1;” Click on the “Apply SQL” button below the text area Save the report If you execute the report after these changes, the report will fetch the results from the database and not from the cache. To enable the caching, remove this command from the prefix and hit “Apply SQL” button, save the report and execute it.

How to Migrate Embedded Reports from Staging to Production in Taleo

Perform the below steps to migrate the reports from staging to production in Taleo reports. Login to the staging or production zone. Enter User Name and Password and click Sign In. The home page will appear, navigate to the “Configuration” -> Recruiting -> “Administration”-> “Embedded Reporting” -> Administration. Click on “Export Reports and Data Models” and select the “Report Definition” and “Data Models” and click “Export” Button. Save the “.xdrz” file in local machine. Login to the production environment and navigate to the “Configuration” -> Recruiting -> “Administration” -> “Embedded Reporting” -> Administration. Click on the “Import Reports and Data Models” and browse the “.xdrz” and click “Import”. Then go back to the “Embedded Reporting” page and activate the “Data Models” and “Report Definition”. Now you can access your migrated embedded reports in the Reports List menu.
